Tylar started playing guitar and writing songs mostly as a way to escape hardships that seem to follow him wherever he went beginning about ten years ago. Some of his closest friends, the Tissell family, encouraged him to record an album which he reluctantly did four years ago. Soon after, Tylar met Bruce Adolph through Facebook, and Bruce kindly sent three of his songs around to a bunch of Christian labels and his friend Phil Keaggy. From there, Tylar played Creation Fest Northwest and has been performing locally in the Methow Valley while working on his first EP album with Loren Boley to be released fall of 2020.
Kind words from Friends
Tyler Moe’s songs certainly and honestly strike a chord. I agree, his voice and lyrics harken back to the early days of Jesus Music. His songs are delivered with a passion that makes you want to listen to every line and turn of a phrase. I think Bob Dylan would truly listen with a smile. I did! May he continue to shine with the Wind of the Spirit at his back.
Tylar and his beautiful wife Ashley and his family are great. He is an amazing genuine man who I have known on IG for a long time now although I’m sad to say that since i lost my bampi I fell behind so many of my friends posts. I love Tylar’s individual singing style he is very talented
